Lastnight, we had Cat Club back from Valencia Spain playing at the Chesterfield in Sioux City. Miguel Angel Escorcia has been touring the upper midwest with a Fender Bassman he borrowed, but last night he plugged into the Sioux Cudahy, which is supposed to be the Sioux bass amp, and was floored. It brought his Gretsch to life and was warm and jangly. He loved the sound and thinks that the Sioux Cudahy will be the new standard for six string players in the world of rockabilly, honkytonk, blue grass, and folk Americana.

Spanish Conquistadors invaded the upper midwest but instead of using swords and cannons they came armed with a Gretsch and a doghouse bass.  Cat Club’s Miguel Escorcia is now using a Sioux Truck Stop Tremolo.
